Continuing development of CPCHEA services

We now have in place almost all the facilities that we had planned on developing. These include:

• Online book sales providing a fast, efficient, economical and secure way to buy books online.

Prices are substantially discounted for African orders -- even cheaper for CPCHEA members.

Payment can be made by credit card or mail;

• Research network using sophisticated, easy to use web discussion forum facilities;

• Facilities for CPCHEA members to publish articles online free of charge;

• Successful launch of the African Journal for Transformational Scholarship;

• An online facility for payment of membership fees.

• A distinct CPCHEA web identity (cpchea.org).

Membership Recruitment

While we have been able to develop these services at low cost but high quality, they still cost money to provide. We can only sustain them in the longer term if we can increase membership. The Centre exists only to serve its members and all who are involved in Christian higher education in Africa. On the other hand, it can only provide this service if it has the support of both those involved in such endeavours and those with an interest in seeing an effective network of Christian higher education endeavours across the African continent.

Our vision is that it will bring together in an Africa-wide network all with an interest in Christian higher education from all disciplines that is biblically faithful and led by Africans for Africans.
